A beautiful-like scenery along the Malawi Mozambique border district of Ntcheu Southern Malawi. Deforestation has been rampant in the areas because of refugees from Mozambique.





Jobless people have to find something to make ends meet. Selling used bottles in the upmarket centre of Limbe in Blantyre is one of the income generating activities.

Charcoal making has become a hot business in Blantyre, Mwanza, Chikwawa and Nkhatabay. Malawi is currently losing up to 50,000 hectares of its forests.





Approaching Njakwa bridge near Rumphi Boma. The area was famous for allegedly harbouring ghosts in the 1950/70. My women were reported lost from the bridge.
